The blush had been finely-milled, and even though it’s a powder, Rose Initiale is still fairly easy to apply and blend. Chanel Rose Initiale blush is a lovely peachy pink that is pigmented but still looks very natural. Lately though, the Chanel baked Euro version blushes I’ve bought have been much softer and pigmented. I think this was the reason why I had given it away. My Chanel Pink Explosion blush was a baked version and although I really loved it, I found it a bit hard to get the color from the pan. I personally prefer the US version because they’re much softer and more pigmented than the baked Euro version. Here in Manila, we usually get the baked Euro version of blushes and eyeshadows. In this post though, I will refer to it as Rose Initiale so as not to be confused. It had probably been repromoted, but I’m not 100% sure. I’m not sure why the new releases are spelled Rose Initial as opposed to Rose Initiale, when I believe that they’re just the same.
